The secret to success

A young man asked Socrates the secret to success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him toward the river. When the water got up to their necks, Socrates took the young man by surprise and dunked him under the water. The man struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and held him down. When the man started turning blue, Socrates raised the boy's head out of the water. The first thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep breath of air. Socrates asked, "what did you want the most when you were under water?" The man replied, "Air". Socrates said, " That is the secret to success. When you want success as intensely as you wanted air underwater, then you will have it". There is no other secret.

A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot give much heat, a week desire cannot produce great result.

As human being , we all have the need to receive and take. But a healthy personality with high self-esteem is one that not only has its need to take but also to give.
A man was washing his new car when his neighbor asked him,"when did you get the car?" He replied "My brother gave it to me." The neighbor said," I wish I had a car like that." The man replied, You should wish to have a brother like that." The neighbor's wife was listening to the conversation and she interrupted,I wish I was a brother like that. what a Positive way to think!
