Anonymous Musical Journey

“Anayasai Pheri”, Sudhir’s debut album had been circulated among friends and family only. However his new album will be reaching out to all beyond kith and kin. Sudhir Deoju has been able to set up his identity as a singer among friends and family especially in hometown Dhulikhel. He is very much confident and optimistic with his soon -to -be -released album to extend his identity nationwide, and establish him in Nepali music industry.

Sudhir was born and raised in Dhulikhel, Nepal. He grew up listening to typical eastern Nepali folk music and other contemporary Nepali music. During childhood he sang in various schools and local community functions. He practiced with cassette tapes and jammed up with seniors in the locality. He rehearsed the songs and performed them in front of his parents and tried to prove himself as a singer. His artistic talent surfaced after his breakthrough performance in local event at Dhulikhel in dashain festival.  The event helped him to pursue his career as a singer and his family encouraged him to take vocal coaching. He grabbed the opportunity and began taking lessons with senior musician Prakash Gurung and continued for five years.

After the first recording of “O Kanchi” in Kathmandu, his musical career truly embarked.  While studying at Sadhana Kala Kendra, Kathmandu, he performed in several local concerts and official events under direct supervision of respected musician Prakash Gurung. During those years he had recorded eight songs for his first album “Anayasai Pheri”. Unfortunately, his debut album didn’t release for the public and confined to friends and family only.

His love and devotion to music led him to record new songs for his new album. Seven songs have already been recorded for the new album and are undergoing through mixing and pre-mastering. Most of the songs are pop genre; however the song titled “Sarangee” has been written and composed in eastern Nepali folk pattern by Sunil Bardewa. The patriot song “Nepali” will definitely be touching Nepali heart around the world. All songs are unique and represent different context to give listener/audience a mesmerizing musical experience.

All the best and wish him success for his new album <……………….>. Did you notice that the album name is missing? Sudhir has reserved this right for listener/audience. Please come forward and suggest him to get a wonderful name for his new album.

Please enjoy a new song "Nepali"...
